Part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site that also includes the ruins of Fountains Abbey, the building reflects Burges’s distinctive approach, combining ornate detailing with strong vertical emphasis. Absolutely wonderful photo! I bought it for my grandson but my daughter loved it so much that we decided it would be a waste to put it on his bedroom wall.
