The chapel marks a site associated with St Cuthbert, who lived as a hermit on the islands in the 7th century, while the lighthouse reflects the ongoing need to guide vessels through these exposed waters. Together, they represent both the spiritual and practical history of the island.
The low-lying island stretches across the frame, with the stone chapel standing nearer the centre and the white lighthouse set slightly beyond. Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
