Designed by William Burges in the 1870s, this High Victorian Gothic Revival building stands within Studley Royal Park near Ripon in North Yorkshire. Part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site alongside the ruins of Fountains Abbey, it reflects Burges’s distinctive style, combining intricate detailing with a strong vertical emphasis. Set within a carefully planned landscape, the building was intended to be viewed along designed sightlines, where avenues and open spaces guide the approach and frame its architectural presence.
The tall spire rises centrally within the frame, framed by trees and set against a cloud-filled sky. A curving path leads toward the building across open grass, while soft, diffused light enhances the stonework and keeps the overall tones balanced and natural.

Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.

Absolutely wonderful photo! I bought it for my grandson but my daughter loved it so much that we decided it would be a waste to put it on his bedroom wall.
