Cross Island Chapel is a small, non-denominational church located on Mason’s Pond in Oneida, New York. Built in 1989, it is often described as one of the smallest churches in the world, measuring just four feet three inches by six feet nine inches. Set on a small dock, it has become a distinctive landmark, known for its unusual scale and peaceful waterside setting.
Viewed from a distance, the chapel sits beyond a series of weathered wooden posts, with a narrow walkway leading the eye across the pond.
