Excellent print quality, quick arrival. - Colin G, Worksop
Deer mounted foamex print - lightweight, contemporary and available up to 30in x 20in.
For those who enjoy British wildlife, fallow deer offers a calm, natural focal point that suits relaxed, nature-led interiors. Ideal for living rooms, studies, or country-style spaces, it pairs well with neutral tones, wood textures, and traditional décor, bringing a quiet sense of the outdoors inside.
The fallow deer, though originally native to the eastern Mediterranean and Asia Minor, has become an iconic part of the English countryside, having been introduced by the Romans and successfully re-established by the Normans around the 11th century for hunting in deer parks.
Renowned for their elegant spotted coats - typically chestnut with white spots in summer - and the distinctive broad, palmate antlers of mature bucks, they are the most widespread and numerous deer species in England today, thriving in mixed woodlands, parks, and open fields.
This elegant photograph captures a single mature fallow buck standing alone in tall, golden summer grass, its striking pale menil coat - almost white with faint spotting - glowing softly in the warm, diffused evening light.
The buck's impressive palmate antlers, broad and intricately shaped with multiple points, rise proudly above its head, still covered in rich brown velvet during the growing season.
A large tree trunk and blurred green backdrop frame the scene, emphasising the deer's graceful profile and serene, regal presence in the tranquil English countryside.
Enjoy a premium photographic print with three paper options, each designed to suit different lighting conditions and artistic preferences:
Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.
Supplied without a border unless otherwise specified.
Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
