The meerkat (Suricata suricatta) is a small, highly social mammal native to the arid regions of southern Africa. Living in organised groups, meerkats rely on cooperation for survival, with individuals taking turns to act as sentinels while others forage. Their upright stance and sharp awareness allow them to detect potential threats quickly across open terrain.
Balanced on a rock, the meerkat stands upright in profile, its body elongated and head turned slightly outward. The sandy tones of its fur blend with the warm, textured background, while fine detail is visible along its coat and facial features. The vertical composition emphasises height and posture, with the softly blurred surroundings keeping attention on the animal’s alert stance.

Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
