Cauldron Falls, also known as West Burton Falls, lies on Walden Beck just a short walk from the centre of West Burton village near Leyburn in North Yorkshire. The falls have long been a focal point within the village, with stone seating nearby traditionally used by locals and visitors to sit and take in the view. The name “Cauldron” reflects the churning pool beneath the waterfall, where water gathers before continuing downstream.
Water flows steadily over a broad rock ledge into the pool below, framed by moss-covered stones and dense greenery. The movement of the stream in the foreground leads naturally toward the falls, while the surrounding trees create a sheltered and intimate setting. The scene captures both the energy of flowing water and the calm of a well-known Yorkshire Dales beauty spot.

Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
