Strome Castle is a ruined stronghold on the west coast of Scotland, overlooking Loch Carron and the surrounding Highland landscape. Positioned on a hillside above the water, it commands wide views across the loch toward distant islands including Scalpay, Raasay and Skye. Once an important strategic site, the castle now stands as a reminder of the region’s history within a dramatic natural setting.
In this scene, the remains of the castle sit to one side above a winding path, with the loch stretching out below and layered hills beyond. The heavy cloud overhead adds atmosphere, while the contrast between green hillside, rocky shoreline and open water creates depth.
