Dunstanburgh Castle stands on a remote headland along the Northumberland coast, its ruins dating back to the 14th century. Built to project power as much as for defence, the castle was positioned to dominate the surrounding landscape and sea routes. Today, its remaining towers and walls form a distinctive outline against the open sky.
The ruins sit elevated above a wide stretch of grassland, with the ground rising gently toward the structure. Clear light reveals the texture of the stone, while the open foreground adds space and depth. The composition keeps the castle as the focal point, balanced by the simplicity of the surrounding landscape.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
