The postman butterfly (Heliconius melpomene) is a tropical species commonly found in Central and South America, recognised for its dark wings marked with bold red or orange bands. It is part of a group known for Müllerian mimicry, where multiple species share similar warning patterns to signal toxicity to predators. Postman butterflies are also notable for their relatively long lifespan and their ability to feed on both nectar and pollen.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
