Lilburn Tower stands along the outer walls of Dunstanburgh Castle on the Northumberland coast, its origins dating back to the 14th century. Built as part of the castle’s defensive layout, the tower was designed to overlook both the surrounding land and sea, reinforcing the stronghold’s commanding position within the landscape.
Presented in monochrome, the tower rises sharply from the headland, with its weathered stonework defined through light and shadow. A narrow strip of ground leads toward the structure, creating a strong central line, while the sea and sky fade into softer tones. Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
