The Full Flower Moon is the traditional name given to May’s full Moon, marking the time of year when spring is in full bloom. One night after full, the Moon enters the waning gibbous phase, where a small portion of shadow begins to return along the edge. This subtle shift in lighting enhances the visibility of surface features such as craters and ridges. Captured with a 130mm f/900 Newtonian telescope, this image reveals fine detail across the lunar surface.
In this image, the Moon is shown in near-full illumination against a deep black sky. Slight shadowing along the edge adds depth, bringing out texture across the cratered regions and smoother plains. The composition is clean and centred, focusing attention on clarity and structure.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
