One night after full, the Moon enters the waning gibbous phase, where a small portion of shadow begins to return along the edge. This subtle shift in lighting enhances the visibility of surface features such as craters and ridges. Captured with a 130mm f/900 Newtonian telescope, this image reveals fine detail across the lunar surface.
