The “Pink Moon” is the traditional name for April’s full Moon, linked to the seasonal bloom of pink wildflowers rather than a change in the Moon’s colour. In this image, the Moon is captured just over half illuminated, showing the transition between light and shadow as it moves toward fullness. This phase reveals strong surface detail, as the angled sunlight creates contrast across craters and ridges.
In this image, the Moon appears against a deep black sky, with one side brightly lit and the other fading into shadow. The boundary between light and dark, known as the terminator, highlights the rugged texture of the lunar surface. The composition is clean and minimal, drawing attention to form and detail.

Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.
Supplied without a border unless otherwise specified.
Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
First Quarter Moon moon foam backed prints are printed to order and usually shipped within 3-4 business days. Please allow a further 2-3 days from the despatch date to receive your item (not including weekends or bank holidays).

I'm absolutely made up with the print I received from Real World Art. I went for the Koi Carp image - It's very evocative and they've totally captured the serenity you feel watching Koi. You can almost hear the babbling water! What's more, it's a top quality print, pin-sharp and looks great framed up. Couldn't recommend them any higher.. lovely to deal with.. thank you.
