Built between 1835 and 1838, Trwyn Du Lighthouse, also known as Penmon Lighthouse, stands off the eastern tip of Anglesey between Black Point and Ynys Seiriol (Puffin Island). Positioned in a narrow channel with strong tidal currents, it was constructed to guide vessels safely through this challenging stretch of water. Its distinctive black and white bands make it a recognisable landmark along the North Wales coastline.
In this image, the lighthouse rises from the sea beyond a foreground of rock pools and seaweed-covered stone. Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
