Built in 1912 by David Alan Stevenson, a member of the famous Stevenson family of lighthouse engineers, it stands proudly on the wild and remote coastline. The lighthouse has guided ships safely through the rough waters of the Minch for over a century.
Local folklore tells of mysterious lights seen in the area long before the lighthouse was constructed, believed by some to be the work of sea spirits or the fabled Selkies.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
