Brilliant! My print is beautiful. I initially ordered the wrong product due to my own error but Carol was so supportive and helpful I cannot recommend her/this company enough. - Jonathon S, Rotherham
Greek Landmark Sculptures art prints - professionally printed and available up to 30in x 20in.
This Rhodes deer sculpture print will appeal to those who appreciate iconic landmarks and coastal European destinations. It suits living rooms, home offices or hallways with Mediterranean, nautical or travel-inspired décor. The clean lines and strong vertical form work particularly well in contemporary interiors with neutral tones and natural textures.
The deer statues at Mandraki Harbour are among the best-known symbols of Rhodes. Standing on tall stone columns, the stag and doe (known locally as Elafos and Elafina) are said to mark the spot where the legendary Colossus of Rhodes once stood - one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. While there's no real evidence the Colossus actually straddled the harbour, it's a fun bit of myth to go with the view. These modern statues welcome visitors arriving by boat and have come to represent the island's quiet pride and natural beauty. Whether you believe the legends or not, there's no denying they look fantastic framed against a clear blue sky.
This close-up of the male deer statue at Mandraki Harbour strips things back to just form, light, and sky. I wanted to focus on the shape of the sculpture itself - the proud curve of the neck, the clean lines of the stone, and that clear blue backdrop. It's a quiet image, but there's strength in its simplicity. Ideal for smaller spaces or for anyone who loves clean, uncluttered design with a touch of the Mediterranean.
Bring stunning photography into your space with this high-quality art print, designed for exceptional detail and longevity. Printed on Premium Lustre Photographic - a semi-matt finish with a subtle, speckled sheen that minimizes glare, making it ideal for bright rooms or spaces with direct lighting. Its subtle texture adds depth, while supporting deeper colour saturation than standard matte photo prints.
Each mandraki male deer art print includes a 1/4-inch white border by default, providing a refined, ready-to-frame presentation. Need a custom border size or colour? I offer tailored options upon request to match your specific framing or display preferences.
