Thurgoland Tunnel is part of the Trans Pennine Trail, following the route of a former railway line between Penistone and Wortley. At around 924 feet in length, the tunnel reflects the engineering of its industrial past while now serving as a passage for walkers and cyclists. Its curved structure and enclosed space create a distinctive environment shaped by light, texture, and perspective.
