My panoramic image captures the Chapel of Saint Emilianos from the far end of the walkway, sitting peacefully on its small island surrounded by the Aegean sea. The perspective draws the viewer toward the chapel, emphasising its solitude and the beauty of its setting.

The tiny white chapel of Saint Emilianos stands on a small islet beside Symi, linked by a narrow land bridge.
According to tradition, it was built by sponge-divers who funded its construction after the saint appeared in a vision to a ship-owner. The site includes the chapel, a courtyard with trees, and simple cells - once owned by captain Nikitas Giannaras for his six children. The chapel holds its feast day on 18 July, drawing local veneration and boat-based visitors who pause for reflection amid clear, turquoise waters.
