Gannets are among the most striking seabirds found around the coasts of the British Isles, known for their powerful flight and precision diving as they hunt for fish. Frequently seen along ferry routes and open stretches of sea, they are drawn to areas where currents and vessel movement bring food closer to the surface.
Gliding low above the calm surface, the bird’s wings are outstretched in a smooth, controlled motion as it tracks the water below. The soft blue tones of the sea create a minimal backdrop, while the distant shape on the water adds a subtle point of depth. Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
