A wild chipmunk spotted at North Bridge, Concord, Massachusetts. There was a whole 'scurry' of them scrambling around the rocks and walls and they weren't the least bit bothered of people.
Chipmunks are small, ground-dwelling rodents known for their distinctive striped backs and quick, alert behaviour. Common across parts of North America, they inhabit woodland, grassland, and rocky areas, where they forage for seeds, nuts, and insects. Their characteristic stripes provide natural camouflage, helping them blend into their surroundings while remaining watchful for potential threats.
Perched on a rock, the chipmunk sits low with its body angled forward and head raised. The striped pattern along its back is clearly visible, contrasting with the soft green background. Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
