Cornish Tin Mines mounted foamex print - lightweight, contemporary and available up to 30in x 20in.
The off-centre composition and atmospheric sky make this image well suited to interiors that favour subtle drama and natural tones. Ideal for living rooms, offices, or hallways, it complements neutral décor while adding a sense of depth and historic character.
Wheal Unity Wood Tin Mine near St Day in Cornwall forms part of the region’s long-established mining landscape, where tin extraction shaped both the economy and the environment for centuries. Engine houses and their accompanying chimneys were central to operations, housing the machinery used to pump water and haul materials from underground. Following the decline of the industry, these structures were left behind, becoming enduring features of the Cornish countryside and reminders of its industrial heritage.
The stone engine house stands slightly offset within the frame, its tall chimney rising into a heavy, clouded sky. Surrounding vegetation softens the edges of the site, while a simple fence in the foreground adds depth and leads the eye toward the building.
Enjoy a premium photographic print with three paper options, each designed to suit different lighting conditions and artistic preferences:
Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.
Supplied without a border unless otherwise specified.
Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
