Fantastic artwork, great service, from ordering to delivery - Alyson Key
Scottish Highlands mounted foamex print - lightweight, contemporary and available up to 30in x 20in.
A view across Loch Ewe at nightfall creates a moody and atmospheric coastal focal point. The contrast between the dark clouds and the soft light on the horizon adds depth, while the distant boat provides a subtle point of interest. Well suited to living rooms, studies or contemporary interiors, this piece offers a calm and reflective Highland seascape.
Loch Ewe, on the west coast of Scotland, opens out toward the Atlantic and has long been a sheltered anchorage, particularly during the Second World War when it served as a gathering point for Arctic convoys. From Cove, the view looks westward across the loch toward the open sea, where changing light and weather shape the character of the landscape.
In this scene, the loch sits under a heavy evening sky, with a narrow band of light on the horizon marking the last of the summer daylight. A single vessel rests in the distance, adding scale and a quiet focal point within the wide expanse of water. The gentle movement of the shoreline in the foreground contrasts with the stillness of the scene, creating a calm but atmospheric composition.
Enjoy a premium photographic print with three paper options, each designed to suit different lighting conditions and artistic preferences:
Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.
Supplied without a border unless otherwise specified.
Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
