Loch Ewe, on Scotland’s west coast, opens toward the Atlantic, where wide horizons and shifting light create some of the most striking coastal views in the Highlands. The area has long been shaped by both natural forces and maritime history, with its sheltered waters once used as an anchorage for naval convoys during the Second World War.
Here, the setting sun drops toward the horizon, casting warm orange and gold tones across the sea and surrounding coastline. The rocky foreground leads the eye out toward the water, while the layered headlands fade into the distance. The low sun reflects across the surface, creating a sense of depth and calm as day transitions into evening.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
