The Norfolk Naval Pillar, often called Nelson's Monument, is a striking tribute to Admiral Lord Nelson in Great Yarmouth. Built in 1819, this 144-foot column predates London's more famous Nelson's Column.
Perched at the top is a statue of Britannia, holding an olive branch and trident, symbolising peace and naval power.
