Cauldron Falls, also known as West Burton Falls, lies on Walden Beck in the village of West Burton near Leyburn in North Yorkshire. This well-known Yorkshire Dales waterfall has long been a focal point within the village, easily reached from the green. The falls spill over a broad rock ledge into shallow pools below, their name reflecting the churning, cauldron-like movement of water. Surrounded by woodland and stone, it has remained a place of quiet retreat, shaped by both natural flow and centuries of local presence.
