Deer greeting cards - beautifully printed and designed to make an impression.
Red deer stag provides a versatile and widely appealing greeting card design, suitable for a range of occasions. Its recognisable wildlife subject and natural setting make it a thoughtful choice for personal messages or everyday correspondence.
The red deer (Cervus elaphus) is one of the most iconic native mammals of the Scottish Highlands, with stags often associated with remote glens and open hillsides. Torridon, in the Northwest Highlands, is well known for its rugged landscapes and long-established deer populations, where these animals have adapted to the exposed terrain and shifting weather conditions. Mature males, or harts, are recognised by their antlers, which are shed and regrown annually, growing larger and more complex with age.
In this image, a stag emerges partially from dense green vegetation, with only its head and upper body visible above the foreground foliage. Its developing antlers, still covered in soft velvet, curve outward with a smooth, rounded texture. The shallow depth of field keeps the background softly blurred, while the surrounding greenery frames the subject, creating a natural, enclosed composition that draws attention to the stag’s alert expression.
These greeting cards feature your chosen photographic design reproduced with clear detail and vibrant colour. Printed on high-quality card stock and carefully finished, they offer a simple and thoughtful way to share your chosen image with friends, family, or colleagues.
