Captured here over three consecutive nights around the full phase, this sequence shows the Moon just before, during, and just after full illumination. Subtle differences in shadow and tone become visible across the surface, even within such a short time frame. Taken with a 600mm lens, the images reveal fine detail across each stage.
In this composition, three Moons are presented side by side against a dark background. The central Moon carries a faint pink tint, while the two flanking images appear in more natural tones.
