Scottish Shipwrecks framed wall art - professionally finished and available up to a 24in x 16in Print in a 30in x 20in Frame.
This twin-hull composition delivers strong lines and symmetry, making it ideal for feature walls in contemporary spaces. It appeals to those who favour dramatic coastal photography and minimalist, open interiors.
Just outside the village of Salen on the Isle of Mull, three weathered boats lie side by side on the shoreline, their timbers slowly giving in to time and tide. Locally known as The Three Ladies, these abandoned fishing boats have become an unlikely icon - photographed, painted, and quietly admired by those who pass through. No one seems to know exactly when they were hauled ashore for the last time, but their soft decay speaks of long years exposed to the elements. With their peeling paint, twisted frames, and moss-covered planks, they tell a quiet story of lives once spent at sea. There's a kind of beauty in their fading forms - part history, part art, and part pure atmosphere.
This framed photographic print offers a refined and ready-to-hang way to display your chosen image. Professionally produced and carefully finished, it combines high-quality printing with traditional framing craftsmanship to create a piece of wall art that complements both modern and classic interiors.
Your image is printed on premium lustre photographic paper, chosen for its fine stippled surface and balanced sheen. This finish enhances colour depth and detail while reducing reflections, allowing the image to remain clear and vibrant in a wide range of lighting conditions.
The print is presented within a hand-made solid wood frame featuring a clean square-edge profile. Available in six carefully selected colours – black, white, brown, natural, antique silver, and antique gold - the frame provides a versatile and timeless presentation.
The frame is finished with HD acrylic glaze, a lightweight and shatter-resistant alternative to traditional glass. This ultra-clear acrylic protects the print while maintaining excellent clarity, helping to preserve colour and detail for years to come.
Each frame arrives ready to hang with pre-positioned wall fixings on the reverse, allowing the artwork to be positioned easily and securely. Available in sizes up to 24in x 16in Print in a 30in x 20in Frame, this the three ladies boats framed print offers a simple and elegant way to introduce high-quality photography into your home.
