Just outside Salen on the Isle of Mull, two derelict fishing boats - Pavonia (built in Banff, 1955) and Elsie May (a prawn boat from Oban, late 1960s) - linger on the shoreline, abandoned when restoration plans fell through in the 1970s. For this photograph I positioned myself further towards the water so I could photograph the third boat which is mostly hidden when viewed from the road.
