Mayburgh Henge at Eamont Bridge in Cumbria is a large prehistoric monument formed from a substantial bank of river stones, enclosing a central standing stone. Dating to the late Neolithic or early Bronze Age, it forms part of a wider ceremonial landscape in the Eden Valley. Its unusual construction and solitary central stone suggest a site of ritual or gathering, though its precise purpose remains uncertain.
