Ashgill Force, near Alston in Cumbria, sits within a narrow, wooded valley shaped by centuries of flowing water. The surrounding landscape features rocky outcrops, moss-covered stones, and dense vegetation, typical of upland streams in the North Pennines. The area has a quiet, enclosed feel, with water carving its way through the terrain.
Water cascades down from a higher ledge, flowing over rocks into a narrow stream below. Large boulders dominate the foreground, guiding the eye through the scene toward the falls. The surrounding greenery frames the composition, while the movement of water contrasts with the stillness of the rocks, creating a sense of depth and flow.

Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
