The Hudson Bay wolf is a subspecies of the grey wolf (Canis lupus), found in the northern regions of Canada around Hudson Bay. Adapted to cold environments, it has a thick, pale coat that provides insulation against harsh conditions. Like other wolves, it lives and hunts in social groups, relying on coordination and endurance to track prey across open terrain.
With its head raised and mouth open, the wolf is captured mid-howl, its thick fur catching soft light against a muted background. The upward angle of the pose emphasises the elongated neck and dense coat, while the shallow depth of field keeps the focus on the expression and form.
