Scottish Heritage mounted foamex print - lightweight, contemporary and available up to 30in x 20in.
The openness of this coastal setting makes it well suited to larger wall spaces where a sense of depth and horizon can be appreciated. It works particularly well in living rooms, dining areas, or offices with a natural or coastal design influence. The balance of land, sky, and sea helps create a calm and spacious feel within an interior.
Gearrannan Blackhouse Village on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides reflects a long-standing way of life shaped by isolation, weather, and resourcefulness. These traditional blackhouses, constructed from local stone and topped with thatched roofs secured by ropes and stones, were designed to withstand the Atlantic climate. Historically, they housed both people and animals under one roof, providing warmth and efficiency in a challenging environment. Carefully restored, the village now preserves an important part of Scotland’s crofting heritage and offers a direct connection to its rural past.
A wider view reveals several blackhouses set against open coastal ground, with the sea stretching out beyond. The expansive sky and shifting light create a sense of openness, while the arrangement of buildings leads the eye gently through the scene toward the shoreline.
Enjoy a premium photographic print with three paper options, each designed to suit different lighting conditions and artistic preferences:
Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.
Supplied without a border unless otherwise specified.
Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.

Brilliant customer service from the start with an easy website to navigate. Unfortunately when my order arrived the print was damaged, contacted Carol who sent another out for me straight away and kept me updated along the way. Absolutely fantastic service. Thank you.
