Handa Island, off the northwest coast of Scotland, is a magical spot for puffin enthusiasts.
These charming seabirds are a delight to watch, with their colourful beaks and distinctive waddles. Puffins on Handa Island nest in burrows along the rugged cliffs, where they raise their young during the summer months.
Known as clowns of the sea, puffins have a long history of appearing in Scottish folklore, often symbolizing good luck for fishermen. Beyond their endearing appearance, puffins are expert divers, using their wings to swim underwater in search of fish.
Handa Island offers a unique opportunity to see these birds up close in their natural habitat.
These two puffins offer a heartwarming glimpse of puffin companionship on Handa Island. The way they face in opposite directions while staying close highlights the bond between these adorable seabirds.
Surrounded by the island's lush greenery, this image captures a moment of quiet connection in the wild.
These greeting cards feature your chosen photographic design reproduced with clear detail and vibrant colour. Printed on high-quality card stock and carefully finished, they offer a simple and thoughtful way to share your chosen image with friends, family, or colleagues.
