Sumatran tigers are the smallest and rarest of all the tiger subspecies, and they're only found on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Their stripes are darker and packed more closely together than other tigers - perfect for staying hidden in the thick jungle. Sadly, they're critically endangered, with fewer than 400 left in the wild thanks to deforestation and poaching.
