Found sunbathing across Greece and the eastern Med, the starred agama (Stellagama stellio), also known as the roughtail rock agama, are little show-offs famous for their impressive colours and even more impressive attitude. Males especially love to puff up their throats and nod their heads when trying to look important - like tiny reptilian bodybuilders. Agamas can change colour slightly depending on their mood or the temperature, and they're brilliantly adapted to rocky, sun-blasted places like Agia Agathi Beach.
