The North Sea forms the eastern boundary of Britain, shaping much of the coastline of eastern England. During the winter months the sea often takes on a dramatic character, with fast-moving weather systems bringing heavy cloud, sudden breaks of sunlight and strong winds across the open water. These shifting conditions frequently create striking skies where light breaks through the clouds over the wide horizon.
Low winter sunlight breaks through a gap in the cloud, sending a bright shaft of light down toward the sea. The golden glow spreads across the sky and reflects off the wet sand and shallow water along the shoreline. Darker clouds gather beyond the light, creating contrast across the scene while the calm waves roll steadily toward the beach.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
