The steppe eagle (Aquila nipalensis) is a large bird of prey associated with open landscapes across parts of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and beyond. Known for its broad wings and powerful build, it is a migratory species that travels long distances between breeding and wintering grounds. Steppe eagles are opportunistic hunters and scavengers, feeding on small mammals, birds, and carrion, and are well adapted to life in expansive, sparsely wooded environments.
Perched upright on a weathered wooden post, the eagle is shown in a calm, composed stance with its body facing away and head turned slightly to the side. Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
