Porthluney Bay in Cornwall is known for its clear coastal waters and gently shelving shoreline, where rock and sand meet beneath the surface. The bay forms part of a quieter stretch of coastline, shaped by tidal movement and shifting light, with submerged features often visible through the water on calmer days.
A rock sits just beneath the surface, its shape clearly defined through the transparent water. Sunlight creates moving patterns across the sand and stone, with ripples distorting the edges and adding a sense of motion. The composition focuses on texture and light, with the clarity of the water revealing fine detail below. I love how the ripples and shapes in the water look like molten glass.

Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
