Wakefield Cathedral, formally the Cathedral Church of All Saints, has stood at the heart of the city for centuries, with its origins rooted in the medieval period. Much of the present structure reflects Gothic architecture from the 14th and 15th centuries, later restored and adapted during the Victorian era. Its detailed stonework and commanding form continue to define the character of Wakefield’s historic centre.
