Excellent print quality, quick arrival. - Colin G, Worksop
Foliage mounted foamex print - lightweight, contemporary and available up to 30in x 20in.
The strong symmetry and detailed texture of the globe thistle bud create a clean and contemporary focal point, well suited to living rooms, kitchens, or interiors with a modern or nature-inspired style. Its subtle colour palette adds interest while maintaining a calm presence.
The globe thistle (Echinops) is known for its distinctive spherical flower heads, which later open into striking blue, pom-pom-like blooms. In the bud stage, the plant forms a tightly packed cluster of pointed bracts, creating a structured, almost geometric appearance. These plants are popular in gardens and wild settings, valued for both their form and their appeal to pollinators once in bloom.
In this image, the globe thistle bud fills the frame, its radial pattern clearly defined. Subtle variations in green and pale tones highlight the layered structure, while the soft, blurred background keeps the focus on the intricate detail. The composition emphasises symmetry and texture, giving the subject a slightly abstract quality.
Enjoy a premium photographic print with three paper options, each designed to suit different lighting conditions and artistic preferences:
Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.
Supplied without a border unless otherwise specified.
Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
Globe Thistle Bud foliage foam backed prints are printed to order and usually shipped within 3-4 business days. Please allow a further 2-3 days from the despatch date to receive your item (not including weekends or bank holidays).

Absolutely wonderful photo! I bought it for my grandson but my daughter loved it so much that we decided it would be a waste to put it on his bedroom wall. The quality and detail demands a place where everyone can see it. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. Thank you for the quick delivery too!
