The Singing Ringing Tree, a panopticon standing in the Pennine hills overlooking Burnley, Lancashire. Completed in 2006, it is part of a series of four sculptures erected across East Lancashire as symbols of the renaissance of the area. It was designed by architects Mike Tonkin and Anna Liu of Tonkin Liu and when the wind blows it produces a slightly discordant and penetrating choral sound covering a range of several octaves. The tree has a twin located in Manor, a small town on the outskirts of Austin, Texas, USA.
In this image, the sculpture stands prominently against a wide landscape of rolling hills and open sky. Its geometric, layered form contrasts with the natural surroundings, while the distant patchwork of fields adds depth. The composition balances structure and landscape, with soft cloud cover enhancing the sense of scale and setting.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
