This stunning Edwardian folly was commissioned by industrialist Lord Ashton in memory of his late wife. Built in 1909, the structure boasts a copper dome visible for miles and intricate carvings that make it a marvel of craftsmanship.
Folklore suggests the memorial's location, high on a hill, was chosen to symbolise eternal love watching over the city. Surrounded by lush gardens, it's a perfect spot for a stroll.
