Excellent print quality, quick arrival. - Colin G, Worksop
Isle of Lewis canvas wall art - gallery wrapped and available up to 30in x 20in.
For interiors that benefit from a strong focal point, this subject brings a striking sense of scale and history. It suits modern, minimalist, or nature-inspired spaces where a single bold element can anchor the room. Ideal for living areas, offices, or hallways, it adds quiet drama without relying on colour or complexity.
Clach an Truiseil, located on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, is one of Scotland’s most remarkable prehistoric monuments. Rising to around 19 feet above ground, it is often regarded as the tallest standing stone in the country. Believed to date back several thousand years, its original purpose remains uncertain, though such stones are commonly linked to ritual, territorial markers, or ancient ceremonial landscapes. Local tradition adds another layer of intrigue, with stories suggesting it marks the burial site of warriors following a clan battle.
The towering stone stands alone against an open coastal backdrop, its weathered surface marked with lichen and age. Soft light and a clear sky emphasise its height, while the distant sea and low grassland reinforce the sense of isolation and scale.
This stretched canvas print offers a contemporary and gallery-style way to display your chosen image. Professionally produced and carefully hand finished, it combines modern print technology with traditional framing craftsmanship to create wall art designed for long-lasting colour and presence.
Your image is printed using UVgel print technology, producing vibrant colour, excellent detail and strong resistance to fading. The professional lab printing process carries a 100+ year colour guarantee, ensuring the artwork remains clear and rich for decades.
Each canvas is stretched over a solid wooden frame made from European kiln-dried knotless pine. The stretcher bars are milled with a curved profile that minimises contact with the canvas surface, helping to prevent impression marks and allowing the artwork to remain smooth and evenly tensioned.
The frame features finger-jointed corners to maintain structural strength and resist warping over time. For larger sizes, discreet tensioning wedges are added to the corners, allowing the canvas to remain taut and making future adjustment possible if required.
Every canvas is hand finished by experienced framers, ensuring clean folds and precise stretching on each corner. The 38mm deep frame gives the artwork a strong wall presence, while a choice of black, white or image wrap edges allows the final presentation to suit your space.
Stretched canvases are designed to hang directly from the wooden stretcher frame, allowing the artwork to sit flush against the wall for a clean, gallery-style finish. Simply place a nail or screw into the wall and rest the frame over it. For larger canvases, two fixings positioned either side of the centre stretcher bar provide additional stability.

I'm absolutely made up with the print I received from Real World Art. I went for the Koi Carp image - It's very evocative and they've totally captured the serenity you feel watching Koi. You can almost hear the babbling water! What's more, it's a top quality print, pin-sharp and looks great framed up. Couldn't recommend them any higher.. lovely to deal with.. thank you.
The attention to detail is above expectations. I'm thrilled with what Carol has done, I will be purchasing again. Thank you
Thank you so very much the mugs are really lovely and you have kept me informed how my order was doing right up to the delivery, your service is 1st class and I will be doing business with you again.
Absolutely wonderful photo! I bought it for my grandson but my daughter loved it so much that we decided it would be a waste to put it on his bedroom wall. The quality and detail demands a place where everyone can see it. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. Thank you for the quick delivery too!
