Muscovy ducks are an odd but oddly charming sight, especially if you're more used to your standard mallard. Originally native to Central and South America, these ducks have been domesticated and introduced all over the world - including Greece. What sets them apart is their distinctive caruncles - those red, warty patches around the face - and a more upright, heavy-set stance. Despite their slightly grumpy appearance, they're generally calm, curious birds. You'll often spot them around quiet, shaded places like Seven Springs, where they seem perfectly content pottering about or keeping an eye on passing visitors.
