Sumatran tigers are the smallest and rarest of all tiger subspecies, found only on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Their striped coats are darker and closer together than those of other tigers - perfect for blending into the dense rainforest. Sadly, they're critically endangered, with fewer than 400 left in the wild due to habitat loss and poaching.
