Lovely soft cushion and excellent print. Very pleased with it. - Richard, London
Ducks cushion - soft, durable, made for everyday comfort and available up to 24" x 24".
A peaceful water scene with a duck and duckling adds a calming touch to cushions, ideal for sofas or relaxed seating areas. The gentle tones and natural subject blend easily into a variety of interiors, bringing a quiet sense of life and movement without being overpowering.
The mallard is one of the most widespread and familiar wild ducks across the UK, commonly found on ponds, rivers, and lakes. Known for their adaptability, mallards thrive in both rural and urban environments, often raising their young in sheltered waters during spring and early summer. Ducklings remain close to their mother in the early stages of life, learning to feed and navigate their surroundings while staying under her watchful care.
In this image, a duckling moves gently across the water’s surface while the adult remains just behind, partially turned as if keeping a close eye. Soft ripples spread outward, catching the light and creating a calm, reflective setting. The warm tones of the duckling contrast with the cooler water, while the simple composition emphasises the quiet interaction between the two.
