Mam Tor, often called the "Shivering Mountain," is a stunning peak in the Peak District near Castleton. Its name means "Mother Hill," inspired by the frequent landslips that create smaller hills at its base. The summit, standing at 517 metres, offers breathtaking views of the Hope Valley and Edale.
