American Historic Buildings aluminium dibond wall art - modern, frameless and available up to 18in x 12in.
Set within the quiet remains of Tahawus Ghost Town, Macnaughton Cottage creates a strong and atmospheric focal point suited to rustic or heritage-inspired interiors. The aged wood and sepia tones add depth and character, making it ideal for living rooms, studies, or feature spaces that pair well with natural materials and muted palettes.
The abandoned MacNaughton Cottage in the Tahawus Ghost Town, the Adirondacks, New York.
It was constructed in 1834 to house the manager and the visiting owners of the Adirondack Iron and Steel Works who then owned the property. From 1876 until 1947 the property was leased to hunting clubs, primarily the Tahawus Club. The small building to the side of the cottage was the McIntyre Bank - the first chartered bank in the Adirondacks.
In 1901, then-Vice President Theodore Roosevelt was vacationing at the house when President McKinley was shot in Buffalo. Travelling along the back roads of the Adirondacks to the North Creek railroad station, it was at the station that Roosevelt received a telegram informing him that President McKinley had died of his injuries. As a result, Roosevelt became the USA's 26th president.
Experience gallery-quality wall art with this premium Dibond-mounted print, designed for exceptional sharpness, durability, and a sleek modern finish. Choose from three high-quality paper options:
Each print is mounted onto a sturdy 3mm Dibond base, featuring a slim aluminium panel reinforced by a strong yet lightweight black acrylic backing. This rigid construction ensures long-lasting stability while maintaining a sleek, professional look.
The print comes complete with a hidden subframe which creates a modern floating effect when hung on the wall. Adjustable wall hangers are pre-attached, allowing for easy installation on any existing hook or screw. These hangers provide up to 10mm of adjustment both vertically and horizontally for effortless positioning.
Supplied without a border unless otherwise specified.
Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your chosen paper, offering additional protection. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.

I'm absolutely made up with the print I received from Real World Art. I went for the Koi Carp image - It's very evocative and they've totally captured the serenity you feel watching Koi. You can almost hear the babbling water! What's more, it's a top quality print, pin-sharp and looks great framed up. Couldn't recommend them any higher.. lovely to deal with.. thank you.
Thank you so very much the mugs are really lovely and you have kept me informed how my order was doing right up to the delivery, your service is 1st class and I will be doing business with you again.
Wonderful card that was delivered quickly and exceptional service. Will definitely buy more in the future.
Lovely soft cushion and excellent print. Very pleased with it.
Absolutely wonderful photo! I bought it for my grandson but my daughter loved it so much that we decided it would be a waste to put it on his bedroom wall. The quality and detail demands a place where everyone can see it. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. Thank you for the quick delivery too!
